Food for Thought

....Wasn't that a dainty dish,
To set before the king?
(from an old English nursery rhyme)

Somehow I find small quantities of well presented good food more fulfilling than large amounts of food just ladled out carelessly, no matter how delicious. This picture of some absolutely delectable sashimi in Tokyo is a testament to that sentiment.

  1. The size of the food apart, I think you take the most delicately beautiful photographs!

  2. Hey Z, I think for non professionals like me a good camera with good lens makes all the difference. When I compare pictures taken by Coolpix or Sony with the ones taken by SLR (Nikon D70)there is a vast difference. Of course professionals can make digital compact cameras take amazing pictures!
