Over and Over but New

A wonderful way to start 2011! By drinking one of the most exquisite teas made by my friend and well-wisher Mita sensei from Japan. Absolutely gorgeous and stunning new tea bowls sent by my friend(s) from Taiwan enhances this rare and beautiful tea. From somewhere in the background Nana Mouskouri's "Over and Over" wafts in and harmoniously blends in with the aroma of the tea.

  2. Z, my best wishes for a very happy 2011 to you too.
It really was exquisite tea but sadly one small packet only. Like they say, best things come in small packages. Also the delicate tea bowls made such a difference.

That is my study program for 2011 and beyond. Learning to match the tea and the ceramic. Which pot, bowl and cup goes with which type of tea. Maybe also sow the seeds of elegant and refined tea culture in this country.

  4. Happy New Year to you too Hanny. Must be nice and warm in Brazil. So some iced tea to start the year or your famous Vodka Martini Tea? Shaken not stirred of course!

  6. Sophia, nice to see you here! I am not sure the blogs are informative: just random thoughts and pictures. Glad you like it though! I will keep in mind your comment about the black background when I change the background next time. Thanks for the feedback and happy new year to you too. And happy tea drinking throughout the year.
