Springtime in the eastern Himalaya (of Nepal) means not only the renewal of the tea season but also a profusion of flowers, specially orchids.

What beautiful flowers and pictures. And pic 4 looks like the grassy roof of pic 5. We have quite a nice variety of orchids here too but I don't think I've seen the variety in pic 2 before. Especially in this particular shade. Quite exquisite.
ReplyDeleteI would imagine that your home near the border with Burma should be quite a hot spot for orchids and other exotic plants. Unless of course man (and usually it is men) has contrived to decimate them in the meantime.
