Resembling a a giant blob of mercury or even an UFO, this highly polished stainless steel sculpture at the Millennium Park in Chicago is affectionately known as The Bean.
My internet line is in really unawesome crawl mode tonight and as the first picture was s-l-o-w-l-y unfolding I was thinking wow, when did Loch learn to take such an incredible trick shot. The first picture really does look like a great trick shot - nice angle you got there.
No trick photography but quite a remarkable piece of architecture and engineering. The skin is so highly polished that the seams between the plates are invisible.
