Jun Chiyabari's tea garden in Ramche area. After 10 years of hard labour it is nice to see a barren and abandoned farm land become so green and productive. Of course it is nice to see the that tea plants have grown too, even though rather slowly. Top picture was taken in June 2011. The same area in a photograph from July 2002.
Wow, that's amazing!
ReplyDeleteA growth is a bit slow but it was a conscious decision because we went organic from the beginning. Had we put chemical fertilisers we would have had good growth by now but our teas would not have tasted as good. Chemical fertilisers really spoil the taste. Despite the slow growth it feels good to have done things correctly.
